To request a reservation on a single date, select the exact day/time of your reservation request and the $40/hr and $250 refundable deposit fee.
To request a reservation that recurs over several days, select a single time slot on the first day you would like your recurring reservation to begin and the $40/hr and $250 refundable deposit fee. Further on in the request process, you will be able to write out your requested recurring schedule. If your request is approved, you will be contacted by the Parks&Rec dept and sent a correct invoice reflecting the $20/hr fee for recurring reservations. There is no fee to submit a reservation request.
Note:
Rules for ALL Reservations:
1. Hours of Use: All users of the building must be finished by 10:00 p.m. The building is only available during normal park hours (7am-10pm). The building is only available when a recreation class is not being held. All reservations and times must be approved by the Ivins City Parks and Recreation Department. No overnight reservations allowed.
2. Parking: Parking is only permitted in designated parking lots or along public streets (400S, 200W etc.). There is no parking permitted in neighboring subdivision. Parking is allowed in rocks by parks equipment building only AFTER business hours. Vehicles can unload in front of recreation room but cannot park there.
3. Cancellation Policy: Refunds will only be offered if a reservation is cancelled at least 5 days prior to the event.
4. Set – up: The user is responsible for any setup. The reservation time must include any setup time needed, no access to building before reservation start time. There will not be more than 3 tables and 25 chairs available in the room for your use.
5. Clean – Up: The user is responsible for cleaning all areas used and leaving the building as the user found it. This includes but is not limited to:
1) Removal of any decorations used
2) Returning tables and chairs to their original location (neatly)
3) Sweeping and mopping all floors (if necessary)
4) Returning rugs to the floor
5) Putting air back to setting it was at on arrival
The user accepts responsibility for replacing and/or reimbursing Parks and Recreation for any furniture or equipment that is misplaced, damaged or destroyed during the time of their use.
6. Pets: There are NO pets allowed inside the Recreation Building.
7. Food/Drinks: If food and/or drinks are served in the recreation building, it is the user's responsibility to clean up any and all spills and assure that no evidence of these items are left behind. The recreation room does not have a full kitchen, preparing food is not allowed on site.
8. Alcoholic Beverages: Alcoholic Beverages are prohibited in the Recreation Building or its surroundings.
9. Smoking: In accordance with the Utah Indoor Clean Air Act, smoking or any other tobacco products are not permitted in any of the buildings.
10. Open Flame: Open flame/candles are prohibited in the Recreation Building.
11. Building Capacity: The number of persons attending a function inside the building shall not exceed 75.
Rules for Single Date Reservations:
1. Fees: $40.00/hour with a 2-hour minimum
$250.00 cleaning/damage deposit due at time of reservation
All fees are due within 5 days of the reservation for the reservation to become official.

2. Deposit: After reservation, if staff determine there was no damage/extra cleaning needed, security deposit will be returned. If paid online, the deposit will go back on card paid with within 3-5 business days. If paid via check or in person at City Hall, refund check will be mailed. Checks are mailed 2x per month, so check will be delivered within about 2 weeks.
Rules for Recurring Reservations:
**If you have a class/program you think would be a good city Parks & Recreation program, please let us know! Parks & Recreation programs do not rent the room, but are contractors for a percentage of registration etc.**
1. Fees: The fee for the recreation building is $20.00 per hour. All fees are due at the first of each month for facility use in that month.
2. Length of agreement: This agreement shall continue on a month-to-month basis until one or both parties terminate the agreement or the user violates the terms of the agreement.
3. Storage: Storage in the building is very limited and all items needed for use in user’s activity may need to be removed after each use. Storage use will be decided when entering agreement; any changes in storage usage must be cleared by the Parks Department.
